Our Staff

Maria Flynn - Purchasing & Logistics Director

A Santa Barbara native, Maria is passionate about growing and promoting the rich agricultural history of our region. Her education in sustainable agriculture, as well as her experience working in farmers’ markets, community gardens and the restaurant industry has instilled in her a love for fresh, locally grown produce. After spending five years in Portland, Oregon, she is excited to be back in the area helping farmers in our region find success through the local marketplace. She enjoys hiking, kayaking & gardening in her spare time.

Favorite vegetable: Sweet, crisp green bean fresh off the vine.

Nina Foy - Sales Director

Nina has always been passionate about fresh produce. As a child she loved to spend time in her father’s garden and to visit local U-pick farms in Pennsylvania, where she grew up. This theme and a love for cooking, canning, pickling, etc. has continued. She joined Harvest Santa Barbara in 2017 after working for GrowFood Carolina, a non-profit food hub in Charleston, SC, for five years. Her role there as Sales Manager provided great produce knowledge and was an excellent platform to learn and fine tune customer and grower interactions. Nina enjoys hiking, cooking, horseback riding and spending time with her husband & young son in her free time.

Favorite vegetable: A farm fresh carrot, dirt preferred.

Jason Steward - Warehouse Manager

Jason has been involved with many facets of the business over the last five years. After graduating from San Diego State he started out as a delivery driver, and now focuses on procurement, packing orders and quality control. Over the years Jason has worn many hats at Harvest Santa Barbara and he is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to both growers and customers. He likes to camp, travel & hike during his time off.

Favorite vegetable: Colorful, flavorful summertime heirloom tomatoes.

Tom Jacobson - Assistant Warehouse Manager

Growing up near the port of Los Angeles has made Tom no stranger to warehouse work & logistics, although Harvest Santa Barbara has been his first venture into the produce world. He is eager to grow with the company and is an integral part of evenings at the warehouse, as he handles packing most of the orders for our customers, inventory & warehouse safety training. Most days off are spent playing beach volleyball, checking items off a honey-do project list or working with his family to create a sustainable suburban farm at his new home.

Favorite fruit: Avocados

Kelsey Perry - Sales Associate

Kelsey first found the produce world with Harvest Santa Barbara, and she is loving it! If you call the warehouse to ask about seasonal availability or to place an order it’s likely you’ll hear her voice on the other end. Kelsey lives in Goleta with her husband, dog & chickens and is an avid backpacker, yogi & camper in her spare time.

Favorite vegetable: Vibrant watermelon radish

Cindy Vitullo- Bookkeeper

Cindy helps out with all things human resources and accounting related. She enjoys cooking & spending time with her son & her very well loved pets in her spare time.

Favorite vegetable: Fresh, earthy green beans

Rolando Azate - Driver

An integral part of the process, Rolando makes sure that our orders get to our customers on time and in one piece. Another important part of the puzzle is helping to properly procure from our growers along the way, and communicate it back to the office team.

Favorite vegetable: Jalapeños, Habaneros or any spicy pepper

Brandon DiPierri- Driver

Part of our delivery team and also a photographer, Brandon is a wonderful asset to Harvest Santa Barbara. His attention to detail is much appreciated by customers and our office team. Plus a bonus is that he may be seen taking a couple photos for our website or social media while out on a run.

Randy Eiquihua - Driver

Our part time driver, Randy is an important addition to the team on those days that we run an extra truck on the road. He delivers native plants for another company to San Francisco and back, so he enjoys our more localized routes & being able to interact with customers and growers along the way.

Favorite fruit: Yellow Peaches because he used to work on a peach, almond & walnut orchard in the San Joaquin valley
